Rusty-Bob is a real live Cowboy just like the old West. He is a 37" full Soft Sculptured Puppet. Rusty is back entry with a large enough head cavity to comfortably handle the largest of hands. Hand crafted with pride by JET, Rusty-Bob comes complete as you see him, including his twin pair of six-shooters (clothing may vary). It goes without saying that Rusty-Bob has JET's signature head pillow along with finger and thumb straps for maximum Vent comfort. We can't let him travel with his guns loaded since we do not want problems with the postal authorities. (BANG! Oops!!!) You will have to purchase your own caps at your local hobby shop.

Rusty, as he was named when he was born, is a Cowboy who is most recently from Denver, Colorado. Rusty is the youngest of 12 children. 6 Boys and 6 Girls. Rusty (as he was known then) was born in Oklahoma, the last child of his father Will and his Mother Clarissa. Rusty's Dad was killed in a Rail Road accident when he was 3. His mother worked from sun up to sun down and often by candlelight just to keep food on the table for all those hungry mouths. Rusty grew up knowing that if you wanted something in this life, you had to work hard to get it. He started doing odd jobs at the local mercantile when he was seven just to help his mother with the grocery bill.

When Rusty was 13, Clarissa came down with consumption and passed away. The five children who still lived at home buried her on the small family farm next to her beloved husband Will. That was the saddest time in Rusty's life. Shortly after, the children found that Clarissa had mortgaged the farm to the hilt, and the bank took the farm. The five kids all decided to split up and seek their fortunes elsewhere, each going a different direction.

Rusty had always loved horses, so he made his way to Texas and took a job as a ranch hand. Through hard work, Rusty had soon worked his way up to being a bronc buster.

He kept noticing though that the Cowboys who got the prettiest girls, were the trick riders, so Rusty began learning all about trick shooting, and roping and doing tricks with whips. Rusty came to realize that if he was going to fit in on the Rodeo Circuit, he would have to have two first names like all Cowboys from Texas. It was then that Rusty began to introduce himself as "Rusty-Bob".

One day when Rusty was participating in a Rodeo at Stephenville, Texas he looked over and saw a girl that he thought was just about the prettiest thing he had ever seen. Although Rusty had been told that he was a good looking Cowboy himself, he was kind of shy when it came to the ladies. Rather than walk right up to this lady who had caught his fancy, he asked around and was told that her name was "Jennifer Caraway". It took several weeks going back to that part of Texas before he even got to meet this girl. Finally he did get to meet her, which only confirmed his belief. She was special. She put him in mind of his mother, who he thought was a Saint. Still shy, and Jennifer not being a huge fan of Rodeo's, Rusty had to content himself with a casual friendship. Soon he had given her a nick-name. He began calling her "Seeds". (Since her last name was Caraway).

Rusty did not get to see as much of Seeds as he wanted to because he was always on the rode traveling from one Rodeo to the next. When Rusty was 34, he finally got to travel to Denver, Colorado to be in the big annual Rodeo they have there. When Rusty first got to Colorado, he fell slap in love with the Rocky Mountains. He just knew if he worked hard and saved his money from Rodeo's, he could soon pay for a small ranch in the Rockies. Then he will be able to offer "Seeds" the kind of stable life she deserved, and maybe, just maybe she would agree to move to Colorado to be with him. Ah, sweet dreams of romance. Rusty dreams of the day when he can send "Seeds" a letter of proposal, and the money for her to fly like a bird to be with him on his Rocky Mountain High should she accept his proposal.
